Here's a post I actually didn't write. It can also be found on Bryan's blog because he wrote it:

Milk Man Bryan!

That right kiddies, after a year as the general manger of the Reed's Dairy store, and 2 months as Alan's personal assistant I have already moved on. I am still at the dairy and I have taken on the calling as a milk man. It is something that I am very familiar with, I have done routes in the past and have been spending the last month helping Alan to develop the new software that we are going to be using.

I will now only work 4 days a week, between 7 and 8 hours a day and make much more money. I will be able to graduate in less than 4 years (from now) and I don't have to worry about taking out loans. It will be a great thing for Kelly and I. I can promise all of you that truly the Lord takes care of those that give even just a little bit to him.

I never thought twice about paying tithing before my mission. I never really had a calling that I felt I was doing something important. My strong and noble wife and I have never missed a tithing check, have never purposely missed a day of church to get our of our calling. We try hard to read our scriptures, and I try hard to get my home teaching done. I am far from perfect on most of those things, but I can already tell you that the blessings that Kelly and I have received in return far out those things that we have given.

The Lord has made us promises in the scriptures. They are promises for us to receive blessings and revelation. These blessings aren't merely something that we are given, but rather, something that we are entitled too! All we have to do is reach out and grab it through obedience. If you need something, try giving to the Lord first and see what we will do for when you least expect it.
