I am SO horrible at this!

Alright, so unlike my husband, I am NOT a born writer! Here's the latest scoop on our lives:

Last month I spent my first ever night in the hospital! President Hinckley was right not to recommend it. It all started with a little abdominal pain, which turned into such severe pain that we went to the ER at 11:45 at night. Steve came to the hospital straight from Rexburg, and my in-laws came straight from Salt Lake. (They were on their way home from the SLC airport and didn't even stop at home before coming to the hospital!) Talk about family support. Anyway, it all turned out to be just a little gall bladder attack, which wasn't so bad once they got the drugs in me :) I don't remember what the drug was, but it's 8 times stronger than morphine. Happy day. Now I'm on a "diet" low in fat and proteins. (Making my gall bladder's job easier, because those are the things it breaks up.) I am much better now. :)

In other new, my family came for Easter! Due to my lack of planning ahead, our camera doesn't have working batteries, so I don't have pictures. My Dad promised to send me a slideshow, which I look forward to. (And I'll try to remember to post pictures on here when I get them.) My brothers stayed with us, which made for a crazy full house, and a LOT of fun. :) My parents stayed at a nearby motel. It had an indoor pool, so we spend an evening of fun there. Freeze tag in a pool that small is HARD! On Easter Sunday we all went to church in our ward, where Steve and I got to play a piano duet of "O Divine Redeemer" in Sacrament meeting. After church we had Easter dinner at our house. Between Bryan's parents and sister, my parents and brothers and us, we had 10 people here for dinner. What an adventure! Sadly, Steve had to work on Easter, and Vivian was in Minnesota. We missed them! My family left Tuesday morning for Downey, then Salt Lake for Brian's senior recital. (My brother Brian... the organist.) From what I hear it was a GREAT recital. (not a surprise :) ) Then, late Saturday night my mom called to let us know that they were coming back through Idaho Falls. I guess she couldn't stand life without me. :p (Believe me, goodbye was NOT easy for me! Just ask Bryan! ) So on Sunday after church we spent about an hour with my family. It was hard to have to say goodbye again, but I was so glad they came. :)

Another update I never gave: I have a new job! Well, not new anymore, I've been working there for 2 1/2 months... but anyway, I work at McDonalds. Seagull Book was only a seasonal job, so I got layed off when business plummeted after the holidays. I am definitely keeping my eyes open for another job, but for now this one pays the bills. I also have two new piano students, and maybe one more next week. If I can get enough students, that could be my main employment and I could just work part-time so I'm not home alone all day :) Teaching is definitely the most enjoyable job I've ever had!

Bryan has been working as the general manager of the store at Reed's Dairy for almost a year now, and has recently also taken on some office responsibilities. As of yesterday, he found out that he will be the new milkman! This is GREAT news! He will not only be working less days (Only 4 days a week! Monday-Thursday), but he will also be making more money! This will also make it easier for him to get back into going to school full-time instead of part-time. Yay Bryan!

I think that's all our news for now. I guess I should write an update every time we have news rather than putting it all in one LONG post! We love you all!
