As always, we are excited to hear from family members and friends, many of whom live far away. We got this great family picture from Danny recently:
(Left to Right: Kelly, Baby Weston, Bryan, and Danny)
This year I saw my first ever superbowl! Well, I saw the first half of the superbowl, and the very end. Really, I was just there for the food. And what great food it was! Here's the spread, including little smokies (wrapped in bacon!), marinated chicken wings, chips, and much much more! And people wonder why I fell asleep...
The countdown to baby's due date is now down to only 25 days! Needless to say, I'm about ready to pop. (See below)
With the due date approaching ever so quickly, and yet SOOOOOO slowly at the same time, everything reminds me of baby. For example, this pop-tart! I had to have some strawberry pop-tarts (It was a NEED, not a want!), and the only way to get them was to get ones with pictionary on them. Wouldn't you know it, the first one I open is THIS:
(It's a little fuzzy, but it's a baby and a shower - baby shower!)
Since I am no longer working, I have found myself with LOTS of time on my hands. Much of this time is spent watching movies and shows on TLC. I have however, found some projects to keep me busy. Last year for Christmas, Staci gave me a kit to make "stupid sock creatures." Behold the first creation! His name is Claude.
Another great accomplishment of mine is finally beating minesweeper on expert. I had to take a picture to make sure people would believe me.
I have done other things, like decorate the nursery. All I can say is, the doctor better be right about baby being a boy, because the room is all sports! (Not to mention most of the clothes we have are blue!) Bryan put up the crib yesterday, and the room is just about ready to be lived in by a little person.
Yesterday we celebrated our second Valentine's day together. Bryan got me roses the night before, and I got this beautiful box of chocolates! (I'm scared to open it, because it's too pretty! Who could destroy that bow?) The card in the picture is actually from Bry's parents, who also gave us chocolates. Yep, that whole box has definitely been eaten already.
I got up yesterday and made us a special Valentine's breakfast. Only one of the pancakes actually managed to retain it's "lovely" shape, but they sure tasted good! Chocolate chips, bananas, syrup, and whipped cream make for a VERY tasty (Not to mention balanced) breakfast. :)
We had dinner with our neighbors, Steve and Karen. Bryan and Steve kicked Karen and me out while they did the cooking, so we went to a movie. When we got home, there was a 6 course meal waiting for us. It was AMAZING! Most of it was even healthy, and still managed to taste good. That's the best! Dessert was my favorite. We used our fondu pot for the first time, with chocolate and fruit. YUM. Thanks boys!
Well, that's about all we've got. Soon we'll have a much cuter Visser to post pictures of, and I will try to be good and actually post them!

Aw... I like how he drew baby Weston. That's so cute. ^_^
Also, I'm beginning to think that everyone had heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast yesterday. Mom used a cookie cutter for ours-- is that cheating?
Oh, and I love the sock creature. He's freakin' AMAZING!
Je m'appelle Claude! Claude and Gus-gus are surely best friends! I'm bringing Gus-gus to work with me tomorrow so he can hang out with me all day. I love him, thanks again!
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
